Sagan Harborside Sotheby's International Realty - Marblehead
Dan was born in New York City and spent his early years between New York and Vermont. His business career began as an insurance underwriter in Boston and he progressed to being a Senior Reinsurance Underwriter for a company based out of Switzerland. Dan's real estate career began with buying, renovating and selling residential and commercial properties in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Utah and Indiana. His most intriguing and current project is renovating the oldest warehouse in North America which is situated in Marblehead, Massachusetts. This experience, in addition to his being a rental property owner and broker for thirty years, has brought him much insight into the buying and selling process. His goal is to "pass this information on and educate the client so that he or she can make the most informed decision possible". Knowledge is power and knowledge along with a good negotiator usually means a successful outcome. In addition to brokering real estate, Dan believes that giving back to the community is an important aspect of life. To that extent, with his twin brother, he was a volunteer at the World Trade Center in New York from December 2001 through January 2002, was a member of the Columbia Space Shuttle Recovery Team in Nacogdoches, Texas in February 2003 and did animal rescue in New Orleans, Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina in December 2005. Dan is a member of the North Shore Association of Realtors and is licensed in California.
