The Team at Sagan Harborside SIR has been working hard to maintain the health and well-being of our families and friends, our loyal clients, our colleagues and the communities where we live and work. Making it possible for us to work from home and stay safe, are the many caring health care workers who are putting themselves at risk to take care of those who need their help. Now, it is our turn to do something for them.
With the peak surge for hospitals in Massachusetts projected for the coming weeks, we wanted to do something that had an immediate local impact and will give the ICU team at NSMC Salem Hospital some relief, positivity and smiles during this incredibly trying time. Ashley Hunt, a realtor at Sagan Harborside, connected with one of the nurses on the ICU team at NSMC to see how we can help.
The hospital staff there is working incredibly long hours with barely time to eat. They have received many generous donations of meals from community members and restaurants, but unfortunately have not had the time to take a break, sit down and enjoy them. So to lend a helping hand and provide a little relief and nourishment, we started a Sagan Harborside SIR snack drive to provide to the ICU team food items they can quickly and easily eat throughout their shifts.
We are proud to report that our office collected more than 2000 snacks, via Amazon and other delivery services. The donations were delivered to a very grateful North Shore Medical Center ICU on April 15th.
This is just one small way we can help our community members who are working hard for us. We invite you to join us as we continue to look for ways each of us can make a difference during these difficult times!
